About Me
Steve Anderson, President, General Contractor, Carpenter, Cabinetmaker
I have been in the residential construction field for a total of 27 years, and in general contracting for 17 years. My emphasis has always been woodworking, from framing to finish carpentry to cabinetry and furniture, designing much of what I have built. I view general contracting as a means to allow myself to do this work. That being said, my abilities to pay close attention to detail throughout an entire project, along with my education, have equipped me well for the role of general contractor.

Collaborators
Depending on the size and scope of a project, I occasionally work with other local builders with whom I have had a long-standing working relationship. Between the three of us, we have nearly 90 years of building experience under our (tool)belts.
- Steve Workman, General Contractor, Carpenter, Cabinetmaker. Steve has been in the construction business for over 30 years. His background in construction management at the University of Washington propelled him into the business. He has extensive experience in design as well, from furniture to remodeling. Plus, he’s a great carpenter and friend (but don’t play cribbage with him if you want to win).
- Michael Kingsley, Designer (Magpie Industries), Carpenter, Cabinetmaker. Michael has honed his design skills over 30 years, living and working in Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, and Port Townsend, and collaborating with his wife, Amanda. He has the ability to capture in his designs a profound sense of old-world, lived-in comfort. We became fast friends while I was helping him build his own house. Michael’s carpentry skills are top-notch.
